Default Which clutch brand do you prefer?

Long story short - I have identified my slave cylinder as beginning to fail, and if I am going to drop the transmission I am definitely changing out the clutch.

From what I can gather from the older posts Sachs is preferred and Luk has been used (possibly more than Sachs), but is somewhat thought of as the inferior by a few members. I am looking for an OEM equivalent (nothing "race" grade).

Anyone try Exedy? Has anyone seen both or all 3 and had a chance to compare each one?

Not trying to start a brand war, I am just curious if there is any discernible difference between them? From what I have seen the price varies from $550-750, so not really concerned about the price as they are all in the same ball park. Which brand would you buy?

On a side note - Oreillyauto thinks the 2004 SLK320 and the Crossfire had different clutch kits... These two vehicles are identical mechanically, correct? I have been searching for the SLK320 as it is easier to find clutch kits for on rockauto and ebay.

SLK320 Part# K70291-01 for $1049.99 *edit* - Powertorque brand, but same part number as Sachs. $470 more than rockauto.
Crossfire Part# K70393-01 for $839.99

Thanks once more for any input!
Ryan
