Re: spoiler board paint problem
I knew there were potential rust problems with the base of the SRT6 fixed spoilers, but this is the first I heard of a problem with a moveable spoiler. If it was mine, I would not replace it. I would remove it and take it to a reputable paint shop for prepping and re-painting. It should not be more than a couple hundred. But if you can find a used, working spoiler for less that matches, why not. I had the left side of my SRT6 repainted for $1500 and the rear bumper on my roadster re-painted for $400. A grand for just the spoiler is insane. Heck, I had the black hood on my daughter's A4 repainted for $300.
