imo these systems in a housing/residential area are an affront to peoples serenity in their homes. Local ordinances are the lowest priority for these self centered attention mongers. I say after three violations of any noise ordinance, sieze the offending instrument and send it to an auto crusher! Usually the same uncouth morons cruise the streets impressing no one but themselves. Before anyone jumps in to flame, just consider first if you are included in this group of people who cause disharmony in a peaceful neighborhood. If you like to destroy others peace and quite, then shame on you. There is just no excuse for rattling the nerves of others in the guise of personal preference and freedom. If i had a schematic of a device that would fry the amps of these peoples 'stereo system', i would build it and use it with glee from my home
