But ..., I am not too familiar with the terms you're using. What I do know is that each bulb has a positive and a ground (negative), a '+'and a '-'.
Do you mean that the side marker ground should be disconnected and be connected to the front turn signal positive?

Check any older GM car, they used this method for years.

This method is sure to mess with the 'light out' bulb on the dash.
