I'm helpless...any remote chance a non-do-it-your-selfer could do this? I'm afraid it's way over my head, and I would love sound improvement.

I wouldn't know where to start...what might this cost me to have a so-called expert do this..or am I just waiting to be ripped off if I took it in somewhere...
