Default Re: Sc data

If you want to do some calcs....
try the following for stock condition...

max rpm redline..................6200rpm........A
Crank Pulley........................155mm..........B
SC Pulley.............................74mm..........C
Pulley Ratio.........................2.09..............D= B/C
SC Revs @ redline................12,986.........E=DxA
Supercharger L/rev..................1.4...........F
Supercharger m3/min................18.2........G=ExF
Engine Intake every 2 revs.........3.2L.........H
Engine Volumetric Eff..............92.2%........I
Intake per min.at VE=0.922....9.1m3/min...J=H*A/2/1000*I
Pressure Ratio........................1.99..........K=G/J
Corresponding psi..................14.5...........L=K*14.7-14.7

Plotted on the IHI chart...the SC is pretty much maxed out (at redline)...ie: if this is the correct chart.
I say this because people have shown it capable of 181/65 = >20psi - see other attach of alternate calc to above.

Note the vol. eff of the SC at 13,000rpm and the higher PR is >95% - hence the almost vertical line.

I state again - this SC speed is the 5 lobe pulley driven rotor.
The other rotor, the 3 lobe rotor is spun up via the front internal SC gear box to a ratio of 5/3
So 12,986 becomes 21,643rpm for the 3 lobe rotor
....and for the 181/65 case...17,265 becomes 28,774rpm for the 3 lobe rotor
