To the OP, You have unfortunately been caught in Daimler/Chrysler's Crossfire.sorry. I've never heard of a lifetime warranty on a vehicle; really? Anyway, you're on the right track seeking out an inde.MB shop. From my observation in the forum here, there are more negative encounters at Chrysler dealers from members here, than there are positive.
Perhaps one of the members here could help steer you in the right direction if you let us know what area you reside in.
