Default Re: Crossfires Across America #6 - Ozark Mountain Region - June 15-18, 2015

When I finagled in the header I could feel the rods moving. They seemed to be moving properly but the top would still not push away from the windshield. I gave it a big hit with the palm of my hand and it popped right up. Guess it was just really stuck after 1500 miles of bugs, dust and rain. The problem was a blessing in disguise as I never would have found the water in the trunk well where the electronic, pneumatic module is.
Top works fine now. Need to clean up the car. Many thanks to you for your advice and prompt response. You guys with your knowledge and willingness to help keep all of us going. Can't imagine owning a Crossfire without the help from you guys. Letting everything dry out and then put it all back together and clean it up. Still can't figure out how water gets way down in that depression without the trunk being wet. Thanks again.
