Default Servicing the XF at an MB dealership

Hi everybody,

I'm a new owner of a Blaze Red '05 Convertible, 6-speed, with all the options. I got the car for an awesome price, and I'm generally very happy with it, but have one problem that has been bugging me - the car has jumped out of the 1st gear twice now in 1,500 miles that I've driven it.

I understand that this has been a problem with '04s that has been supposedly fixed in '05, but my car has been build in '04 (11/04 to be exact) and I think I still have the problem. However, I have been hesitant to bring the car to a Chrysler dealership, since as most of you know, they aren't exactly experienced with working on the XF. So, what I was wondering, is there a way to get it serviced under warranty at an MB dealership? Has anybody been successful doing that?

If not, I think I will just stick it out for now until it gets worse... It seems that as long as I remember to firmly push it into 1st gear, it's ok. The two times it jumped out, I was being lazy, but then again, I've driven sticks for the last 10 years, and this is the first car that has that problem...
