The torque curve is more like a table. The drop off is minimal on mine. (15 to 20 ft lbs.) From low to high rpms there's little change on my modified engine with a torque peak at around 4500 rpm. The hp keeps climbing. Raise the rev limiter with a tune and the higher the revs the more power. No drop off. Stock may be different but I doubt it. Turn of traction control, put it in manual and go. Let it shift on it's own at redline. I haven't found a faster method with this car.
