The true test now is not so much how cool are the TB's, but the temp they were in their previous location vs the new material that was put in it's place. You're the engineer here so in my uneducated mind on this, the TB's are just the gateways for the air. (And the obvious question- where the heck your filters gonna go? Lol) i like an idea that i read awhile back where someone mentioned insulated wraps that have tiny coolant lines running thru it. So my .01 is i think u chase a conclusion on that theory. Im really digging your tenacity, but whats next, fog light housing replaced with TB's
