Some 17 year old girl hit me on wednesday on my way home from work. It messed up the back end of my car. Visual estimate is at $2,300. for a new bumper, taillight, exhaust system. This is just visual however, they have to do a tear down to assess any structural damages so the price might go up. Alot of plastic is melted from the rear end from the exhaust being all mangled. It was dripping plastic when I got home. I am worried about the exhaust being bent up the way it is. I am afraid the cats have been cracked/damaged. As you can see in the pics the entire exhaust is hanging very low. I don't want to go get this thing smogged a few years down the road and have to pay for new cats. I don't know if they are going to replace the whole exhaust or just the back section. This is the magnaflow muffler on there right now. My exhaust guy is gonna hook me up with a new system- true duals with an x pipe and 2.25" or 2.5" pipes running back on both sides of the diff like it should be. gotta cut away some of the plastic around the fuel system--No mufflers-- with some nice 4" double wall tips.
