Default Re: leg room and clutch

Have said it before but my issue is being able to both recline to about 40 degrees and have arms and legs nearly straight out (product of formula cars in my yout).

Steering wheel is all the way in (closest to the dash) and since it does not tilt I have to raise the seat nearly all of the way (a first for me) to put the wheel where I like it (all of my other cars (inc. the Judge) have tilt and I drive with all of the way down).

Yes this is probably an abby-normal position but I can drive for 24 hours with only brief stops without any back pain. If upright I feel it after a few minutes (too many cars airborne etc.).

So I have a coupe and have cut out the rear bulkead (non-structural) to allow the reclined seat to go another 2" back. Pretty simple mod really. Also removed the plastic raised "dead pedal" so left leg can stretch out.

ps have no problem pushing the clutch to the floor & used to be 5'10" (probably more like 5'9" now).
