It's right we have electronic throttle control (drive by wire). The throttle control drives the throttle valve. The signal for the throttle position sensor comes from the ecu (mainly from the accelerator pedal position sensor).
The throttle valve supplies the engine with air all the time - idle or driving.
Your car is under warranty. Bring it back to your dealer and let it be fixed. Maybe a throttle body must be replaced, maybe not. Let them find the real problem first before the start doing anything.
