I thank you for that link, but I've figured out once again, when you're in a hurry you will end up doing things twice. What I found out today, at a rebuilt shop I went to, is that the spacer that was keeping my pulley spaced too far out is not part of the armature shaft. It comes off!!! You just get a small screwdriver and pry under it, and it comes right off the shaft. Well don't I feel like an idiot after wasting an afternoon to find that out.....So, the Advanced Auto one that I bought and took back was correct, even if the pulley was the wrong size. All I had to do is pull that spacer and swap the pulley.....Good lord!
