Well, if it is indeed plastic, then keep it coming! Why didn't they use that "plastic" for the rest of the trim? It's the most miraculous plastic I've ever felt.....including Bakelite!

Anyone else think the shifter is plastic? Or metal?

Maybe it's just me. I just know it feels and looks like all the a peices in my aluminum/stainless collection.
