I'm think it can be worked out. Moparbust, I believe, was running 18" MB spare rims on the front of his car at the track. With appropriate rubber, of course. When you find a rim you'll have to work out the lugs if you need a spacer on one end of the car, or both. And you'll need a tire diameter that's not too far off either on the front or rear or you'll hit limp mode and your stuck anyway. So, find a rim, find a tire in the middle, need a spacer? Get the right size and don't forget lugs of the correct length that may or may not work on both ends of the car. Or decide on a front or rear spare and put run flats on the other end. Sounds like money without a really good solution the more I think about it.
