I don't recall it looking anything like the photo you posted.
The Dome is where the view is. But it must be mentioned that it could be strenuous for some to make the hike.
I just wanted to mention it is a steep climb.

Ya James the photo I previously posted I found on a website
This photo below I attached was the actual view from last fall at sunset at the parking area
We didn't do the hike due to pretty cold temps and sunset already upon us
