Im using a Passport 9500ix. It has GPS in it to memorize false alarms. Im not sure if the v1's have GPS in them, but I had a Passport 8500 and it false alarm like nobodies business. Everything set it off, so I sent it back and got the 9500ix. If it gets the same alert 3 times in the same area is stores it as a false alert so it doesn't keep happening.

You dont want a detector that goes off 24/7 because you become condition to ignore the alarms since it is always going off.
