You can also easily find the same tool on eBay for around $16 with free shipping. I just saw one on eBay that is used that is only $10. I have a similar knock-off. The specific angling of the wrench does make it easier to pull the spark plug boots with less risk of damaging them. Though not a necessity, picking one up for less than $20 isn't a bad thing to add to your toolbox.

I agree it's a widely used tool that is handy to have. It's inexpensive and worth the cost to save some time and possible damage to the plug wires.
