Thanks to the forum for making my 1st 4 wheel removal a success!
I've owned my srt for about 2 years now, and the BFG kdw ta's installed by the previous owner were starting to show some dry rot. It's a shame because i loved that tread design and they still had atleast 8/32 remaining. After some time on tirerack, i decided to replace them with the bridgestone s04 pole positions in the oe sizes.
Due to my reluctance to let anyone else work on my baby, I removed the wheels myself. Thanks to the forum i was able to find out everything i needed to know: how to remove the center caps without damaging them or the wheels, the location of the 4 jack pads, and the proper placement of the hydraulic jack. Even what to do when my front driver's wheel decicded it didnt want to let go of the hub. THANK YOU ALL!
I also took this opportunity to clean the 85 layers of brake dust off the inside of the wheels (ceramic pads are next on my list). Unfortunately, I didnt hear back from the tire shop until just before dark so she's still up om stands.
