Default Re: Dyno/power question

A dyno is primarily a tuning tool, not a sheet you fold and keep in your wallet to pull out and show others in a ****ing contest. I was actually at a car show once where a guy did not have his car because it was down for some reason and he actually pulled out his dyno sheet! It was hard not to laugh and yes it was primarily in a rural area. Can you say Hee haw?!LOL
It is best to do the mod right there on the spot right after the first pull. You may have a higher dyno number and still lose to a car with a lower number at the track. The dyno number is something personal for, AGAIN, Tuning purposes.
If there were enough guys in close proximity to a dyno perhaps a group deal could be worked out if the number is all you care about. Like at the SLK Picnic where detailing your car is more important than how it runs.
This is part of my "Fall Fever" so take it with a grain of salt. Offense could be intended. If you are offended then it must fit.
