How about having the shop look for a 2002-2004 Mercedes SLK carpet, that should be a direct replacement for the Crossfire carpet. This is the issue with the Crossfire, the aging of the car is creating a lack of parts.

Why not go to a auto shop that deals with interiors/upholstery only. They may access the carpeting from other suppliers your shop is unaware of at this time.

Just my 2 cents....
