It has been raining here for the last week and a half or so and finally today is clear and cool.
After finishing my weekend chores, I reward myself with a spirited drive via backroads and some interstate blasts.
I bought a 1999 996 Carrera this past spring and have been driving it most weekends and sometimes after work during the week. I took it out for about 1/2 hour and it is a lot of fun to drive, being a 6 speed.....a good time!
Next I took out the SRT6 Roadster. I've never driven these cars back to back until today.
WOW! The SRT6 is the best $15k I've ever spent on a car(almost 6 years ago) in my 57 years of life!!! And, I have gone thru many cars since my first one at 15 years old.
The SRT6 is virtually unmodified except for a Eurocharged ECU/TCU tune, intercooler isolator and Johnson coolant pump.
This car has never given me a day of grief, regret or worry.
I absolutely love it.
I had to share this with somebody who understands. So many are ignorant of this car.
