Default Re: NW's Larger Intake Manifolds Question

Rod, Boost is a restriction. Make the inlets to the intakes smaller and the boost goes up but the power goes down as the air becomes heated and less dense. Anytime flow is increased boost goes down but the volume per psi goes up and is denser. After having then stock intake of I don't understand why a ported lower "Y" pipe and thee enlarged inlets to the plenums do not add more than the 8whp or so I see, I would think 15whp+ would be in order. then Rob's shop must intake match he inlets to the ports heading to the valves. Still a good question. A google search would give a nice reason and maybe tips on how to get more power, I'll look!

Rod, are you going to stack the 178/65? If so and you sold your 550c inj's the ones I got are used in that u-tube flick and I got them new for $225. Exact same thing they were using in that u-tube flick were from E/C and not sure what they get for them, probably more than $225.
