Yeah, I think the only way you would see an emission test failure is in those locations that will fail you if your OBD is storing a fault code. They don't care what the code is - if it's there, they fail you. My daughter's car (not a Crossfire) failed for a code related to a transmission OD switch, so it can have nothing to do with emissions.
