Good advice from 180. One of the querky things that is part of owning a XFire.

I used to have Merkur XR4Ti's way back; had 3 of them in my driveway. XR4Ti had a querky thing where the cigarette lighter mounted in the rear of the console for backseat passengers would not disengage after popping out when someone wanted to use it. Drained the battery all the time. Part of that design era when cigarette lighters were directly connected to the battery. Now one typically has to have the car running to have the lighter or outlet working.
