This is as bad as when I owned my MGB ... I have a friend that owned a 1967 Camaro and wanted to race my MGB. I was ... "Yeah right!" The MGB didn't had a NHRA sticker on it and neither does my Crossfire. I did tell my friend I'd meet him on the track at Road America, we'll see how the Camaro handles the turns, I KNEW what the MGB would do.

Same goes with the Crossfire ... my friend now owns a Viper ... hasn't challenged me (yet) ... but to that I will decline just as he'll decline meeting me at Road America.

Our choice in cars is the spice in life ... if we all picked the same thing it would get plenty boring over time.

And I agree with all the posts about adrenaline ... I don't get it from stomping the pedal to see how fast I'll get from point A to point B ... I get it from going through a tight corner, downshifting and stomping on the pedal at the apex of the curve only to see the others spin out or stop because the CAN'T do it.
