Default Re: Oil Light

Most of us only put 8 quarts of oil in during an oil change. That leaves the oil level slightly below the max mark. On my coupe, I couldn't really see where the oil level was low.

A few years back, I put nearly 8.5 quarts of oil in during an oil change. Actual oil change requires 8 liters of oil, which is 8.45 quarts. We went to a Dragon weekend right after the oil change. All weekend, I kept getting the oil overfill light whenever driving the 'twisties'. Sucked about a pint of oil out when I got back home and never had the oil overfill light come on again.
