Hello everybody, I'm new to this forum I'm not sure how active this website is stiil...
I purchased a Crossfire Srt 6 recently in October, and It came with a valve cover gasket issue that was then fixed by the dealer free of charge. However, there was check engine light that came up soon after I drove it out of the repair shop. I then had a rough idle and rpm fluctuation ... I took it back and they have the nerve to tell me the issue is unrelated to the valve cover gasket which I find it hard to believe since it didn't have the issue prior to the valve cover gasket replacement. He then said he couldn't fix it due to not having a "special machine", he then told me to go to chrysler dealer so they can help me. His english was not very well but he told me about a throttle body and miscommunication with engine when you press on the gas pedal. I know there have already been some threads about this in the past and perhaps none of you can tell me exactly what it is, but the dealer said its an idle control issue and threw a number out there ... told me it was going to cost $5000 to fix ...is this true?
Any help would be appreciated
