Well the idea is to junk the single TB and 'trick' switched length intake plenum assembly (the big cast lump between the 'V', and replace it with 6 single individual downdraft throttle bodies (I looked at triple twins but the manifolding would be compromised). Like you say a modern version of a multi-barrel carb setup form the 60's.

There is not much room in that area so I am CADing up a 28mm injector sandwich plate to fit between the TB and plenum for those that want to retain the single TB. It will mean the MAF assembly will sit back 28mm causing problems with fitting the engine cover, but most people going this route will have ditched that anyway.
I am not sure which bits of the original MAF/elbow you still have with your ASK setup but it will probably just mean that the twin pipe assembly will move back 28mm nearer the firewall. I'll post up some pics here and on my site later.
