I'm guessing that the part of the seal above the door is glued on, that's what it looks like when I study mine.
When the door is closed the top of the glass hits that seal, moves it out the way and the seal comes down again to affect a seal on the edge of the glass.
I guess I'll replace the retainer since I already bought it. Know some good glue to use for fitting the retainer in?
