Mine was a mess from others attempts at repair - regular RTV etc. Just using the flat bladed exacto and scraping everything is what I did. I'm starting to think getting a new primer to the glass is a big part of the "success" with this. And don't worry about excess too much.. it will scrape off later when everything is all set up.. Just watched the video.... great info! Just to clarify, though: you did NOT remove the window fully from the top, correct? You just scraped out the old crud and got the adhesive into the edges of the failure as best you could while running a proper bead (after primer) to the areas where the glass was fully separated? Is that correct?
