I have not dealt with this problem myself, but I do recall reading where others have suggested forcing (hammering) a regular socked onto/around it. The idea is to have the socked compress the outer ring of the security lug bolt so that it does not spin freely. Doing this will very likely damage the socket, but it would be worth it to get the security lug out. A cheaply made socket is likely to split when hammering it on and may not work.
