New to the forum, would like some advise
My wife bought me a 04 white crossfire with 105k miles on it at a Tampa auto auction. I took it to a MB service shop because I had a check engine light on and the BAS light would come on then off, they told me the forced air pump was causing the CI light but could not help me with the BAS light because it was not on at the time of service. When I turn right I can hear a rubbing noise and hard rights the wheel jerks. They also wanted me to pay 400 dollars to change my valve cover gaskets because they are leaking, I just moved here from Nevada and this is the only place I have ever lived where I don't have a garage to work on this myself and figure it out, if anyone knows a place in Miami that you can take your car and work on it or something like that I would appreciate any help and if these problems sound like something I need to fix right away I'll eat the service fees if needed. My other cars have been Chevy trucks and ford SUV s so issue like this where normal and nothing to worry about right away. Thanks for your patience with a crossfire newbie.
