Default Dynomax Dual Exhaust Photos

I'm finally getting around to posting these photos of the dual exhaust system we built for my car. Bare in mind this is for track use only and is not street legal because the catalytic converters are removed and exhaust noise exceeds most state regulations of 95db.

Total fabrication, installation and parts were $600. The system consists of 2.5" ID pipe, two 12" Dynomax "Bullet" mufflers, two 18" Dynomax "A" glasspacks, two 20 degree turn down tail pipes, 4 modified 02 sensor housings.

The way we designed the system to keep the sound levels below the mandated track limits of 97db is install the two duramax mufflers after the turndown from the engine.

Then we installed the glasspacks at the tailpipe.

The entire system is straight thru without baffles per se, keeping a good clean exhaust flow.

We reinstalled the 02 sensors with spacers that keeps the tip of the sensor further back from the direct gasses, in hopes of tricking it into thinking the catalytic converters are still in the system.

Woody: this exhaust system and 02 sensor modification was done AFTER the dyno, so I don't know if it will affect the FA ratio I had on the previous dyno...
