CHUK, Have you installed the big dog intakes yet? it sure would seem the ported "Y" and increased intake flow should some decent power. Did you do the "Y" with a dremmel type tool or do you have access to a machine shop? The tweaked intakes seem like they should also add some power but it seems not that many of the guys here have that mod. Even a drop in psi should happen with the better flow and if that is the case I would think the additional flow again should net more power than I have seen. So if the big intakes are not installed are you getting them on soon? Dyno results would be interesting as you would be meticulous about getting the best from these post SC mods, look forward to what you are able to ro! Sweet
Understand that the limiting factors here aren't all about manifolds and intake size and header size, we don't have the room for equal length headers and our valve size is limited due to only having 195 cu. in. That's why the SCAI is just about as effective as the DCAI but not as pretty. You can only stuff so much air/fuel in there and still get it out without changing the CAMS and then you have to deal with rough idling and peaky engine performance. Also, you don't want to sacrifice reliability.
