When my alarm goes off, the lights don't flash. It happened 6 or 7 times so far, either when I was driving or stopped at a light.

The under-hood switch I mentioned is shown on the parts diagram where I went to look for a replacement alarm. Check out http://www,factorymoparparts.net and enter the car type (mine is a 2005 Crossfire Limited). It's shown under Electronics and then Alarm.

for oledoc2u, when you removed the alarm, did everything else work OK? I may just do that but I thought it might mess up other electronics.
