Sorry to say, "I don't think there will be anything to update", unless I have the hood repainted at a body shop. The SSB paint does not lend itself very well to the touch up method of repair. At least not within my capabilities. Finding a good color to match is almost impossible for the SSB metallic paint. And because of the hairline crack next to the nick, I would have to enlarge the nick to fix it properly, which would almost double the size of the nick.
