Default Re: replacing speaker grill in driver door

mooshim: Can you tell by looking at the back of the new grill if there is a notch or some place to gently pry off the existing grill? What sort of fasteners does it use to snap into the door? Can you post an image?

I have looked it over very carefully at the grill and not found a way to remove it. Eeek! I had rather not take off my door panel.

I have a buzz from my driver's door speaker grill. If I touch it the buzz stops. If I could remove it and maybe put something thin around the edge it should stop buzzing. ...maybe a thin piece of rubber or even heavy card stock paper - anything to shim it up.
