An oil extractor is a device you can buy that uses vacuum to suck the oil out through the dipstick tube during oil changes. Also called a "topsider", they first came on the scene for inboard engine boats.
Many on the forum swear by them, I too will get one when my ship comes in.
Last time my ship came in, I was waiting out at the airport .
