Coupe or roadsterc that's a hard one. However, if the roadster had been available in Dec when I purchased, I'd have still bought the coupe. This, because o me he essence of the XF design is with its boat tail. That "signature" elevates it from the crowd. The roadster is a beauty, but for my tastes it edges towards the generic. I also like the closed in feeling of the coupe. But I will say, after our recent weather a blast up/down Hwy 1 one in a roadster would be too coolc but then, guess that's why I have motorcycles.
