No Click; No Starter Engagement; No Turning. Completely dead! Let it sit for a couple of hours & car restarted. Ran 5 minutes or so and then shutoff. Let it sit all night. Started it up the next morning and it's run fine ever since. Never did see whether a warning light was triggered right before shutdown. Always was outside of car when it happened. RATS!!! If it was seizure, surprised I didn't see car shudder or shake. Car actually only shutoff; like someone turned the key to off.

Now here's the thing. When I added oil, I poured it thru the oil filter housing. Did this before & had no issues. Car was up on ramps, so it was elevated a little. When I started it the next morning, while it was running, I backed it off ramps. Been on level ground ever since. And so far, no recurrence or issues.
