I don't think this car is meant to be worth below the 30k considering the economic demographics on who can afford to maintain it. No offense but DC is not selling the crossfires initially for high schoolers and families whose annual income is below 100k when they first launch it.
Yes, it's affordable but the maintenance can be hard in the pocketbook to others compared with the Honda's and Toyota's. We can expect some owners dropping their crossfires in the next year or two due to its high maintenance value!
How can you say that the maintenance is high dollar? The car is virtually maintenance free, replacing a blown tire is not maintenance. The only reason the tire is expensive to replace is because it is 18 or 19 inches if it was a cheap 14 or 15 the price would be less.
Sorry forgot to say I paid 40k Canadian for a new 2005 SRT6 coupe in March 2006.
