Where are you going to learn how to do it if you do not try or if possible get a knowledgeable friend to help you. This forum and the net is full of money saving tips on how to do simple tasks. The person who does his own work should be aware of his own limitations though.

Anyone who wants to pay can of course go to a mechanic, but a simple bleed job can lead to large bills for unneeded repair work. My philosophy is to do it if you can be bothered and watch carefully what the garage says you need to have done if you can't.

That is my point, nothing more and nothing less.
