I can't advise with the PO505 code but I can keep a rubber hose from kinking shut. Referring to the rubber hose that connects the intake tube port then other end mounts to the drivers side valve cover area engine ventalation port. I went to HomeDepot and purchased a Stainless steel with yellow corrosion resistant coated Gas Connector. Flexable gas supply line like you would use on a water heater,range,or dryer. It's 1/2"OD by 36" long all curled up in a small bag. Use a tubing cutter to cut off just the ((flared ends only)) to remove all the unwanted nut hookups. Took the flex gas tubing to NAPA to be assured it would slip into their new rubber hose. Make sure to cut their rubber hose at least two inches longer than the gas tubing. Soap up really good the inside of the rubber hose and outside of gas tubing. With the hose straight and the gas tubing straight,it will slide in and never kink up. Then flush out all the soap from between the gas tubing and rubber hose with water. Squirrel Crusher
