Nope they are definitely not all the same... There are all kinds of variations. Different software etc...
I had a issue with mine last year.
I purchased one that almost matched. It fixed my problems but now the spoiler stays up and Bas esp light is always on... Hence you should get one with a perfect match to have a hope in hell lol. There are 5 sets of numbers on a Bcm. I would get one that is a perfect match...
I now found one that is a perfect match.. I should get it in a week or so and will install it and see it will make everything like new... Or not... I will let you know when I do... My previous one that I bought had 4 sets that were the same and one set that was slightly off.. I took a chance and bought it.. It worked for me for last summer but I want to get my spoiler working properly etc... So here's to hoping with the exact match....
