New batt's in the Fob and reprogram it for door lock/unlock functions. Start functions are not related to the battery in the FOB.
Try the original FOB to start the car, it should start the car fine now. If it does not there must be something wrong with the RFID chip/SKREEM sense circuits on that FOB. If so buy a new FOB right away from Needswings.com
