Yes, take the battery cover off, take the battery out.
Shake any water out and then dry with a hair dryer. Don't melt anything, but blow it as dry as you can get.
Then store it in a ziplock bag of dry rice or silica gel for a few days.
Put new battery in it and try it out.
If that doesn't work, you're probably out of luck.
