Default Re: Baseline Dyno Run Results

Hello everyone, I'm revisiting this thread because I'm convinced it's bogus and those of you who believed ELOW, got scammed.

Both myself and WOODY, a member from the UK have had independent dyno runs both in California and England respectively. Both were performed by very respectable race shops who routinely work on german cars.

I'm not going to argue the HP & Torque #'s that ELOW is presenting in this thread, they are almost valid. I will however argue the RPM shown on his bogus dyno print-out. Both Woody and I have verified that (without serious electronics modifications that are beyond the expertise of the DC engineers in the USA) the engine will cut at 5,000 +/- RPM on a dyno. His print-out shows the car cutting at the rev limit of 6,200 rpm... Ain't gunna happen guys !

Not only that, in order to get the car to run on a dyno various fuses must be removed from the ECU housing which is located under the hood in front of the passenger firewall. If you notice in his picture under the hood, this is still assembled.

Sorry guys, I think this knucklehead ELOW skunked you. Notice how he has disappeared ?...If you want to see the real truth about dynos with the Crossfire, we have a thread going on this forum.
